My first Mother’s Day was wonderful. We relaxed! All of us slept in… including Mason. We all felt well rested and it was much needed. We woke up late and made breakfast. Matt gave me a very nice card and got us concert tickets to Cross Canadian Ragweed.
Jeanenne, Jeff and Mollie stopped by to visit, which was so nice to see them. After they left, Matt, Mason and I went out to lunch at one of our favorite spots. We topped off lunch with a trip to Dairy Queen.
I felt very grateful, as I heard from so many friends and family to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. I am so appreciative to have so many thoughtful friends and family. I could not have asked for a better day and I absolutely love my new family.
