We have a babbling, one-toothed 9 month old who gives kisses, walks alongside furniture and plays chase around the coffee table with Gammy and Dad. He enjoys following the vacuum when Mom is vacuuming and is fascinated by people brushing their teeth. He is an optimist, as he has an unrelenting belief that he can stand on his own. The fact that all of his attempts have proven to result in a tumble, does not sway him. A stubborn little boy who refuses to learn the meaning of ‘no’ or to understand the reasoning behind a loving mother’s redirection to a safer location… If he believes the end result to be a plug, chord or laptop in hand and/or mouth he will find a way. Thanks to this month’s milestones, my son may be in the running for the most bumps and bruises on one body, at one time.
