Mason's Baptism

Mason was baptized at 12:00pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The service was performed by Deacon Ed Mattee. Auntie Tracy Devine-Guzman, Rachel Leibengood and Rich Doherty served and will serve as Mason's Godparents.

Mason's baptism was special for so many reasons. Much appreciation to our family and friends for the patience they demonstrated and the amount of time spent to ensure that Mason was Christened into the Catholic faith. A special thank you to Auntie Tracy for her perseverance in completing all necessary Godparent prerequisites. Without Auntie Tracy's diligence, Mason would have been unable to be Christened. We cannot thank her enough!

The baptism offered a private ceremony, which made the sacrament even more special. We did find the Deacon's ample use of anointment oil to be a topic of several conversations.

Mason shared his sacrament with Mom and Dad, Nana and Bumpa, Gammy, Pappa, Great Grandma Pankey, Great Grandpa Saucedo, Rachel and Steve Leibengood, Rich Doherty and Gloria Martinez.
