Mason is a great helper around the house. He throws trash away, he wipes down tables and walls and he throws his diapers away. Mason has also become a tad considerate of others. If you sneeze he will say "bless you"... It sounds more like "bess", but at least he is trying to be considerate. Though, he also has a tendency to be not so considerate in places such as church! We will be working with Mason on how to behave in public places.
Mason will be starting a new school as we just moved and are no longer within a reasonable distance to his current daycare. We are really excited for Mason to start his new school. This school seems to have a more educational structure, yet is in a playful and creative environment. The playground is also huge, which Mason is in love with. Mason won't be able to start until June, as the child care facilities in our area all seem to work on the school district's schedule. So until June, Mason will continue with his current daycare.
Mason has really shown a new interest in cars. He has cars in every size. He not only pushes around his big cars, but he also likes to attempt to crawl inside them. He has figured out that he can actually sit in the back of his big tonka truck. Our neighbor also gave him a power wheel, which he is still too small to reach the pedals; however, he still likes sitting in it and pretending to drive. Once he gets big enough, I have a feeling he will be in that car a ton.
Mason is also ready for Spring. He has really enjoyed going outside, when it is warm enough, with Gammy. He "helps" her rake up leaves. He is so busy, in fact, that one evening Mason was sleeping by 6pm. He slept the entire night too!
The biggest milestone this month... We have officially put away Mason's high chair. We have replaced his high chair with a new toddler table and chairs. He loves to sit at his new table. He is even doing a great job eating his breakfast, lunch and dinner at his table. We are very proud of Mason's accomplishment.
We have a very big month coming up. So many new and exciting things are just around the corner!
