Scenario: Mason's typical bedtime routine... Matt reads Mason several books (many times it is the same book), Mason fights for milk, and then he asks for me to put him to sleep. Matt walks out of Mason's room and the following conversation occurs:
Me: "Do NOT get him milk."
Matt: "He wants you to put him to sleep. He's almost down."
(I walk into Mason's room)
Mason: "Mommy, milk!"
Me: "You can't have milk but I'll lay down with you."
Mason: "Get daddy."
I will remember that, son.
