Today Isabel came up to me as I was doing the dishes and she wrapped herself around my my legs to give me a hug. I told her "thank you, Isabel!" She stepped back and then stepped forward again to give me one more hug. It was unprompted and made my day until Mason added to it.
I had gone downstairs to get the laundry. I came upstairs to find Isabel putting toys on Mason. Mason is still recovering from the stomach flu and was laying in the rocking chair. I then proceeded to pick up the toys that Isabel had layed by Mason and put them back in the toy box. As I sat down to begin folding laundry Mason said "Thank you, Mom."
These moments made my day.
