Early Birthday Celebrations

Mason has had quite a birthday week. He had a birthday party at both of his schools. Mason chose a birthday party theme of Star Wars. No idea where his Star Wars fascination came from but he just loves Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers. He even woke up at 5am because he couldn't wait for his party. He loved his parties and he asked all week to start his birthday. I had to keep telling him how many days he had left before he got his presents; however, he did get an early birthday gift from Gammy this morning.

Mason absolutely loves Halloween. Gammy has continued to build his Halloween village and we decided to reconstruct the village with the new pieces that Gammy got him for his birthday. Mason woke up this morning and I told him that after he got ready for school he could have a birthday surprise. His response was "I get a stormtrooper!".

Once Mason got ready, he was able to come see his surprise. He was so happy to see the "spooky village". I asked him "Is this better than a stormtrooper?" His answer was "Yes! Thank you Gammy for my present."

He spent the entire morning staring at the village and then continued his admiration once he returned from school.

P.S. Notice Isabel in the picture... no clothes because she refuses to wear anything except her Sophia the First pajamas, which were in the wash after 2 days of constant wear.
