Gammy and Papa took Mason and Isabel to Cripple Creek to ride the train. Cripple Creek is a historic gold mining town, which has become a tourist attraction with a few gambling casinos. Of course, Mason and Isabel were dying to play the slot machines. Papa explained that they could not play the machines until they were 21 years old.
As they were walking, Papa noticed a sign that also displayed the age restriction so he pointed out to the kids that there was indeed a rule that they had to be 21 years of age. Isabel responded with "Well I'm 23."
Some older gentlemen overheard, started laughing, and stated "she's going to be trouble."
