We have been working with Mason on the importance of doing your best and never giving up.
Me: "Mason, what are the first two things you think about when your teacher gives you an assignment or test?"
Mason: "ummmmm"
Me: "Doooo...."
Mason: "Do my best."
Me: "Yes! and what else?"
Mason: "ummmmm"
Me: "Don't...."
Mason: "Don't do that."
