Glenwood Springs

While Matt was representing Team USA at the Pan American Championships, Grandma, myself and Mason took it upon ourselves to go on a mini-vacation in Glenwood Springs.

We made the 4 hour drive to Glenwood Springs on Friday, June 5, 2009. It was a beautiful drive and Mason slept the entire way. Once we got to Glenwood Springs, we drove around to check out the small mountain town. The next morning, we made our way to the natural hot springs that Glenwood Springs is known for. There were two pools. One pool was 94 degrees and the other pool was 104 degrees. Mason enjoyed the cooler pool and really took to the water. Grandma and myself also enjoyed the pool with Mason, but we also took turns going into the warmer pool. It was so relaxing.

After swimming, we took to the town. We walked around and attempted to find Doc Holliday's grave, but were unsuccessful as there was construction. The town was very beautiful and we look forward to visiting Glenwood Springs again.
