Steps Forward

Mason took five steps on his own today. I was holding my leg out for Mason to steady himself. I took my leg away and Mason just stood there... balanced... Then, he began to walk toward me... five steps and he reached the chair I was sitting in. Gammy and I could not believe it. Gammy said 'no way!' then we cheered for his accomplishment. Mason got excited and laughed. Then, he crawled over to the entertainment center and stood up. He made sure Gammy and I were watching and then proceeded to take a giant step forward... only to take a tumble... Overconfident, perhaps? Well Mason, we are so proud of your five steps and we look forward to ten more.
