Mason has gotten to be such a fun little guy. Not that he wasn't before, but he just gets more and more fun. He has such a neat personality and makes us all laugh
most of the time. Times that aren't so much fun, you ask? Ummm, pen art on the new couch. Thank goodness for Spot Out!
Mason still has his fascination of vacuums and cleaning. Dad and I went to Wal-Mart one weekend. As soon as we approached the vacuum aisle, Mason screamed out 'ohhh, WOW!' He made Dad pick him up so that he could touch every single vacuum.
Mason has also started daycare. My heart just breaks when I leave him. Though, I do believe I, now, have confirmation that he can intentionally pull on my heart strings. He makes a scene when I'm dropping him off and then I call an hour later to check on him and the teacher tells me he is doing wonderfully and that he stopped crying as soon as I left. THEN, when
I come to pick him up, as soon as he sees me he runs to me crying. Apparently, when Gammy went to pick him up he didn't want to leave. In fact, he grabbed her hand and brought her in to play with him. I tell you, as soon as he sees me, he bawls and can't get out of there fast enough.. as if I've maliciously performed some injustice towards him, which
kills me. Anyway, his jig is up... at least that's what I'm telling myself. I'll drop him off tomorrow and my heart will break again.

On another memorable note, we celebrated Thanksgiving with Nana and Bumpa. We drove to Hampton, VA bright and early Thanksgiving morning. Mason had a great time playing with his cousin Ryan and running through Nana and Bumpa's house. One of Mason's favorite places to get into was Nana and Bumpa's garage. The funniest part of that story is that Bumpa has quite the man-garage. A man-garage stocked with a Porche and brand new Mercedes. Yet Mason was fighting to get into the garage for the perfectly parked carpet cleaner. Priorities seem to be a bit off but we had a truly wonderful Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving we went to Portsmouth, VA for a Christmas Wonderland. Christmas Wonderland was filled with Christmas displays and a children's museum. Mason loved it! His favorites were the train, reindeer, a racing disc and building blocks that you could build up and break down. We even got an elf to make a balloon Shrek.
Next stop... 20 months... and Christmas in Cape Cod!
