2 Years!

Mason is two! We celebrated Mason's birthday and Easter at Nana and Bumpa's house. We had such a nice time. We drove to Hampton,VA on Friday afternoon and spent the weekend. Mason had such a great time and was spoiled, as always. He was able to spend time with his Nonie, he helped Bumpa clean the car, he searched for Easter eggs for the first time and he was able to play on the beach. He even went swimming with Dad in Nana and Bumpa's pool. Did I mention the pool water was only 64 degrees? We were worried it was too cold for Mason. Clearly, we were wrong. In fact, he got extremely upset with us when we made him get out of the pool.

Now that we have made it to the terrible twos, we are waiting to see what else he can possibly bring our way. He is already sneaking out to the garage to get into Gammy's car. He loves cars! He loves to pretend that he is driving, which is cute but at the same time, how is he getting behind the wheel of a real car!? He has always been good at opening doors, I just cannot believe he has been able to open a car door. He's also climbing on coffee tables and kitchen tables, as well as, walking down the stairs forward. He actually does a pretty good job, but his coordination is still lacking and if he is not careful, he will take a tumble. We definitely need to keep our eye on Mason at all times!
