Bedtime hour was upon us. As I approached Isabel, she was sitting in Matt’s lap shelling and eating pistachios (quite impressively, actually).

Me: “Isabel, it’s time to go to bed.”
Isabel (continuing to shell and eat pistachios): “No, I don’t think so. I’m going to eat.”
